Blog » Celebrity Style: Cath Tyldesley in Vivien of Holloway

Last Saturday saw Corrie's Simon Gregson host his annual charity 'do' in Manchester, with this year's theme being  '1950's diner'.

One guest that was beyond thrilled with such a theme was Cath Tyldesley! Anyone that knows Cath knows that she LOVES the 50's and the way the women embraced their curves! So, you can imagine when it came to what to wear for this event, it wasn't such a hardship!

As Cath's stylist, it was a done-deal that Cath had to wear a dress by Vivien of Holloway for this event - in my opinion, they are the best replicated 50's dresses out there and the quality is second to none. I've recommended VOH to a lot of private clients that have wanted dresses that embrace their curves.

The Daily Mail were quick to run an article on Cath, which I was super pleased about....

Cath's hair was styled by the amazing Vince Allenby from Trevor Sorbie and makeup was by the wildly talented Armand Beasley.

A lot of people on Twitter were asking where they could get Cath's dress so here is the dress in question... (click the image to be taken to the website)...

To add the fullness to the skirt (and also give the illusion that the waist is smaller) we added a petticoat underneath and added the white belt which was very 50's.

Cath wore the Topshop Gwenda shoes in white which I have blogged about before... the pointed toe was perfect for this look, any other toe (peep toe or rounded) just wouldn't have looked right.

Would love to know what you think of the outfit....

Until next time...
